Today was without a doubt one of the highlights of my studies.
Our Cognitive Neuro Psychology group got to spend time in a lab at the Medical School, experiencing the human brain 1st hand - through its various dissections. Ever since becoming a psychology student and being attracted to the neuroscience field, my appreciation and respect for the brain has multiplied immensely. For some, this image may be gross. For me, it’s truly sheer delight to be holding and studying a real human brain. I also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the beings who are kind enough to donate their organs to research and saving lives. The brain and neuroscience continues to be one of the most dynamic fields to study. So much has been discovered yet there is so much more to uncover. Today was a moving day for me. (evident on my face :) 🙏🏽
Au revoir and thank you very much to all at #ClubMedSA & @clubmedalbion 🌺
My family and I returned to this resort for another magical experience in Mauritius. I’ve now had my 4th Club Med experience from the Maldives to France to Mauritius and yet again, as amazing as these resorts are, what stands out most, is the emotional experiences you encounter at a Club Med - with their GO’s. Somehow they just get it so right to make you feel like family in the time that you are there. When you leave it’s almost as if you are leaving a piece of yourself behind with them and taking some of them with you. I look forward to our next rendezvous. Merci becoup 🏝 #ZeeTravelz
