LA’s Most Inspiring Stories
Never give up. Your dreams matter. You matter. Your story matters. At Voyage we've had the great fortune of connecting with people who are at all different stages - from those just starting out to those who are household names. What we have learned is that everyone has struggles. Everyone feels insecure sometimes. The road is never as easy as it looks, but nothing is impossible. If you can dream it, you can do it. We're proud to share inspiring stories each week, stories filled with ups and downs, obstacles and triumphs. We've highlighted a few here and encourage you to check out these interviews and others on the site. Link in bio.

The future is female. Not because it's anti-male, but because for too long women have been under-represented in the workplace, in government, in the media and elsewhere. Our race, gender-identity, sexual-preferences, faith, shape/size/color, etc should never limit our opportunities. Media plays a role - the stories, narratives and experiences we cover help shape and represent culture and we're proud to play a small part in helping to shape tomorrow’s narrative by highlighting an amazing and diverse set of leaders on our site each week. A few are highlighted here, the full series is online. Link in bio.

You matter. Your story matters. You don’t have to be a billionaire or pop star for your story to matter. We think it’s important to ask our neighbors and friends and people throughout the community to share their stories because if no one asks, far too many stories would go untold. The coffee shop around the corner and the artist next door have stories we can learn from, grow because of and be inspired by and we are so proud to be able to help make sure these stories are told each week. We’ve highlighted a few stories here, you can check out the full Inspiring Stories Series online. Link in bio.

It’s more important to understand someone than to judge them. We think the first step to understanding someone is asking them the fundamental questions about who they are and how they became the person they are today. Understanding and empathy are esessential building blocks for a better, more compassionate world. We’re incredibly fortunate to be able to ask these questions each week in our Trailblazers series. We’ve highlighted a few trailblazers here, you can check out the full series online. Link in bio.

Representation matters. There are so many amazing women running businesses, leading organizations, innovating and pushing society forward, but there isn't nearly enough coverage. We're super proud to highlight inspiring female leaders and role models each week through our Trailblazers: Rewriting the Narrative series. We've highlighted a few of the #girlbosses here. Everyday we have a choice. We can support an up and coming podcaster, try a new family-run restaurant, join a boutique gym started by a local fitness champ or we could keep giving away our money to the handful of giants who already control so much of our commerce. Our daily decisions impact the kind world we live in; if we want a world where small businesses are growing and artists and creatives are thriving then we should support them with our time, money and attention. We're proud to highlight inspiring creatives and entrepreneurs each week in our Inspiring Stories series. We've highlighted a few of them here. We often forget a very important truth: there is far more good than bad in the world. We think we would be happier and more well balanced if we spent more of our time reading about people, projects and organizations like those we’ve highlighted below. There are so many people doing incredibly important work and making a real difference in the world. They are the true heroes and we hope you’ll join us in spreading the word about good people and projects. (See link in bio)
