There aren't too many cycling races with a more spectacular backdrop than the @cadelroadrace. #cadelevansroadrace #visitgeelongbellarine #visitvictoria

If you're taking a shopping trip down Bourke St, you might accidentally walk past this laneway gem. Union Lane lies directly across from @davidjonesstore and is a colourful way to walk from Bourke to Little Collins St on your shopping adventures. Make sure to take some photos with the street art along the way before you discover more boutique laneway stores and luxury brands at @stcollinslane. It's not just the great coffee that people fall in love with here but the music-lined streets too. You might hear the buskers amidst busy crowds or spot them on a street corner when you hit the town. Take a moment to stop and listen - it's a great atmosphere, enjoying the music along with other strangers passing by, and might just put a smile on your face for the night. Photo by @rachelandnic #visitmelbourne #melbournetwist

Winter seems to bring out the most vibrant sunsets, don't you think? This one was taken by @carolynbphotography in @visitgeelongbellarine by the Barwon River. The area has some beautiful coastal spots to take a stroll and catch a sunset but also some great wineries, restaurants and seafood to feast upon - we highly recommend the mussels. #visitgeelongbellarine #visitvictoria

Did you think rooftops were only for summer? The @imperialbourkest thinks otherwise. They've popped up a marquee for winter so you can still escape the winter chill on their rooftop. Stand by their fiery heaters with your mulled wine or sit down and grab one of their blankets to keep you warm. You won't miss the city skyline and star-studded night on this rooftop. For warm and fuzzy feelings this winter, take the 1.5 hour trip from Melbourne to @explorebendigo and hop on the Yarn Bomb Tram. Take a look at the detail in the 6.5 metres of crocheted squares as well as the colourful seat covers - hand-knitted and crocheted by a group who remain anonymous for the fun. The sight of it will surely brighten up your winter's day. Photo by @rocsanneputri #explorebendigo #bendigotramways #visitvictoria

It's not a dog, it's not a husky...it's a dingo. Meet Warragul. Warragul is Aboriginal for "wild dog" but she is actually a pure alpine dingo. @visitgippsland and head to Mount Baw Baw, 2.5 hours from Melbourne, and you can meet her and fellow dingo pal, Rowdy, at the NUTRO™ Dingo Resource Centre. It's a great opportunity to be up close and personal whilst learning about the role they play in the ecosystem. Photo by @mtbawbaw #inspiredbygippsland #snowvic #visitvictoria
