~ mermaid smoothie bowl ~ • We’re starting the week with tropical spirulina smoothie bowls 😋 • The base is a blend of 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen mango, 2 frozen bananas, a dash of soy milk and 2 Tablespoons @unicornsuperfoods blue spirulina. • Topped with hemp seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, raspberries, shredded coconut, sliced banana and mint. • Happy Monday! 💗

~ all beings deserve to be happy beings ~ • Heni is the sweetest little lady 🐥. She’s one of our residents at @happybeings_wa and greets me at the door every morning. She comes running to the car each time I pull up in the driveway. She loves a good snuggle or pat. • Fun fact: Chickens can remember over 100 different people! They also remember their names and learn other people’s and animal’s names. They love to play, they dream and see in colour. They have complex social structures, great memory and capacity to learn. They have empathy. They can feel love, jealousy, lust and selfishness. 💗

~ tempeh rice noodle salad ~ • 1. Cook tempeh according to packet directions. I sautéd the tempeh in a teaspoon of olive oil, then sliced thinly. 2. Cook rice noodles according to packet directions. 3. Chop your veggies! I used cucumber, carrot, snow peas, capsicum and cabbage. Add them to the rice noodles. 4. Time for the sauce! Combine 3 tablespoons soy sauce with 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar and 1 tablespoon rice malt syrup. Mix in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and chilli flakes or fresh chopped chilli. Stir through your rice noodles and veggies. 5. Divide the rice noodle salad into bowls, top with your sliced tempeh and garnish with crushed peanuts, mint leaves, coriander leaves and fresh chilli. • Enjoy 💗

~ little changes for big impact ~ • You don’t need to be perfect to change the world. We can all make small changes and together have a huge impact. 🌎 • Be the imperfect vegan. Be imperfect at living a zero waste lifestyle. Be an imperfect minimalist. Strive to do better across the board and watch your ripple effect. • One small change I made is switching my hair and bathroom products to @ethiqueworld. My shampoo bar is equivalent to 3 bottles of shampoo and my conditioner bar is equivalent to 5 bottles of conditioner. Did you know that up to 90% of your conditioner is water? Ethique took the water out and made a bar instead. With no plastic. With no cruelty. • Each time you consider buying something, ask yourself - Do I really need this? If the answer is yes - Is there a better alternative that I can purchase? 🙏🏼

~ australia is on fire ~ • There are over 200 fires burning across Australia and more than 14 million acres have been lost. 500 million animals have died and thousands are injured. 24 people have died and many are missing. ~ vanilla berry smoothie ~ • On a scale of 1 to smoothies, what gets you out of bed? ✨ • Today’s breakfast smoothie is 2 frozen bananas, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, 1/2 a mango, 1/2 cup of gluten free rolled oats, a big scoop of @happywayau vegan vanilla protein powder, a big tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter and a dash of almond milk 😋
