I finally decided to give it a go and try a chin stand without blocks 😱 (swipe to see the difference be blocks vs no blocks).
Well good news I didn’t break my neck and my chin isn’t bruised... def a work in progress. Despite how awkward this looks I swear the majority of the weight is in my arms and I am NOT balancing on my chin. I spared you the video of my entrance into this pose without the prop and me basically stabbing my eye with grass 🤦🏽♀️Thanks to @yogawithmargaret and #junesoulbalances for counting me in. I enjoyed my few moments in the muggy post-rain shower dew this evening after what seems like a never ending to do list that is giving me tension headaches 😡 .
Today’s mantra: 💆🏽♀️go back to your heart. It will always lead you home. .
Thank you lovely ladies: ✨💕
Getting twisty with my main flow for the month. A few months back I switched up to teaching the same Vinyasa class for a month to allow for students to drill the same postures and transitions instead of changing it up every week. I got the idea from @jason_crandell after listening to why he teaches similarly and I gotta say I love it! It really allows me to focus on the students. Though I do expect you to flow as fast as the video 😉 thanks for the inspiration Jason🙏 #yoga#yogaflow#seattleyoga#pnwyoga
