Sometimes things don’t go to plan. When this constantly happens, it feels like my whole world is falling apart. It feels like nobody can help me. I feel guilty talking about my own feelings, I feel as if I’m being annoying and pathetic. It feels as if nobody can help me, like it’s me, and only me facing the challenges and that I cannot ask for help as that is a sign of weakness. It isn’t weakness though, it would be strength. If I could ask for help it would make everything so much easier. Every single time I try it fails, I don’t want to speak to anyone. I don’t want them to know the ins and outs of my life, I don’t want to be in a vulnerable situation. When I have a clear head, I know that asking for help is the best possible solution, but I don’t have a clear head. My head is full of thoughts and feelings I cannot control. Everyone needs at least 1 person to talk to in difficult situations and I have that 1 person, which I am so grateful for. You should never feel as if you cannot talk to someone about your emotions or struggles.
