#tbt #ThrowbackThursday to the first time I pressed 4 plates, I was 17 years old @ 85KGish bodyweight. Currently deloading ready for the British Bench on Saturday so thought I'd reupload this 💪 - This was after running my first Powerlifting program, Smolov Jnr for 3 weeks. I had managed to get up to a PB of 170KG with a "Power-Bodybuilding" style approach previously and then decided to run Smolov on my squats and bench. After those 3 weeks were up, I hit a huge PB (at the time) of a 4 plate bench and a 500lbs squat. That feeling and adrenaline rush of hitting a PB was unreal and I knew Powerlifting was what I wanted to do from that point onwards. - I didn't know what I wanted to do at the time... I didn't know if it was Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, pro wrestling, YouTube? Something to do with the gym I knew that. I wasn't sure but after hitting those PB's/milestones I knew it was Powerlifting all the way 😂 Haven't looked back since 🤷‍♂️ @newbodyfitness
