The Kebab (or kebap if you must), served up at Şehzade Cağ Kebap (@sehzadecagkebap) in Istanbul!
"A horizontally stacked marinated rotating lamb kebab variety, originating in Turkey's Erzurum Province. And while it is increasingly available in most Turkish cities, the Cağ kebabı is especially popular in Bursa, and is enjoying an ever-growing success in Istanbul and Ankara."
Yeah I totally ripped that from Wikipedia. Not my writing at all. What "I" was going to write was:
"It's a horizontal kebab"
(If you've ever played Skyrim you will probably know what I'm trying to quote).
Soft Shell Crab Burger by the amazing people at Da Fish Ting (@dafishting). "You need to try their polenta fries!" someone said to me. I would have listened. But...
I mean, look at it. It's gorgeous. A whole soft shell crab deep fried, served with a butternut squash, and peaches ceviche in a scotch bonnet tiger's milk. I meant holy crap... I don't even know what that means. Just that it tastes amazing!. All cuddled in a charcoal brioche bun.
Maybe next time I'll get the polenta fries... maybe!
