We made silly faces, noises, jumped around and tried everything for her to smile and not cry. End of session and mom brings out bubbles. That's all she really wanted. Too bad we didn't start with them. . . . . #somethingnewproductions #nebraskaphotographer #nebraskafamilyphotographer #nebraskanewbornphotographer #omahaphotographer #lincolnphotographer #omahafamilyphotographer #lincolnfamilyphotographer #bubbles #studiosession #milestonesession

The @empiricallabs Arousor is hands down the best Distressor plugin I have used, and I have used literally all of them. What I love about it is it’s not strictly limited to what a hardware Distressor can do, but goes above and beyond, adding features that are usually only feasible in a digital environment. Like always, this plugin rocks on drums, electric guitar, and rock, pop, and rap vocals. Each ratio brings a new character to the table, allowing you to recreate the Distressor trademark of producing LA-2A, 1176, and DBX sonic signatures, as well as some unique ones. The added attack modification is likely my favorite new feature, acting very similar to a transient designer... it can really bring some bite and snap to anything you put it on. Wet/dry has been added, and the latest update not only upgraded the sound as a whole, but added a more sophisticated wet/dry control scheme, with ELI planning on adding more and more updates like this into the future. Parametric EQ on the side chain compliments the high pass SC, meaning not only can you give your kick and bass room to breathe, but literally any element you want by dialing in the EQ, telling the Arousor to compressor that frequency range more or less. You get a variable saturation knob as opposed to 2 selection, and it is beautiful sounding for a plugin. Anything from subtle warmth to crunchy, guitar amp like bite and distortion that is very hard to model in the first place. I believe they still have this available for less than $5/month or $50/yr (including all future updates), or an outright purchase price of $300. Considering it costs thousands for 2 Distressors, that’s a deal if you ask me. I have a full review in @audioproducernews... link in bio. - Michael Frasinelli ----------------------------------------------------- #nashvillemusic #rec#recordingstudio #musicstudio #stu#studioion #hiphip #studio #indierock #compressor #recording #mixing #mastering #musicianlife #studiogear #producerlife #gearhead #musicproducer #producing #studiolife #plugins #audioengineer #guitarplayer #electricguitar #singersongwriter #rnbmusic #vintage #indiemusic #classicrock #vst #bassguitar #drumming
