How does the idea of short term loss for long term gain apply to you?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The idea of the investment of time and money now looks  daunting. It looks like a lot all at once and like there's no way it could be worth it. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But think about these things:⁣⁣ -lack of confidence⁣⁣ -injury⁣⁣ -illness⁣⁣ -bad mental health⁣⁣ -fatigue⁣⁣ -chronic pain⁣⁣ -doctor bills on doctor bills⁣⁣ -medications⁣⁣ -appearance of early aging⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ These are the things that happen as you get older (and maybe even now) if you don't invest in your health now.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You think about the athlete you were years ago, daily. The thing is thought that you will always be an athlete. You have that same worth ethic in you, you just have to work a little harder for it now.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So how do you get that athlete back? There are a few things you can do:⁣⁣ -spend a little more time (and MAYBE a little more money) on healthy/whole foods⁣⁣ -don't cut any food groups out of your diet (unless you have a reason)⁣⁣ -don't avoid the foods you enjoy⁣⁣ -drink plenty of water⁣⁣ -MOVE! It doesn't matter how; just get moving.⁣⁣ -hire a coach- this isn't necessary, but it does help and you can find good ones who set you up for success forever (haiii shameless plug apply through the link in my bio)⁣⁣ -𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦. Hi Friends! I get asked a lot about my favorite protein powders (Vega Vanilla, Iso-100 Chocolate and Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides) . . . But I don't want to gloss over the fact that getting your protein from whole foods is the BEST way to increase muscle growth and strength. . . . If you're not sure where to start. pick something from this list that you recognize and throw it in a smoothie with 1 cup of almond milk, half a banana and 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries. . . .
