A portrait of beautiful male "Peninsular Rock agama" (Psammophilus dorsalis) As I had recently been to a small dry deciduous forest of Bangalore, with a long bucket list, ended up finding only few bird species. I was a bit disappointed till i met these fellas. Found them twice at the different parts of the forest. He was with her mate(I'll post her pic soon) n it was breeding season for them. As males get more orangy color when they're in breeding season. His mate was shy but he stood their still, perching to rock till i get a close-up shot of him.. And then he left. It was so good sighting them in the wild:) Follow for more;) Hope y'all are having a good day Keep clicking ^-^
