Super Snow Moon attempt Part Deux! This time I used a crop sensor body to extend the reach of my vintage Nikkor 100-300mm f/5.6 lens to an effective focal length of 450mm on the Sony A6000 via an adapter. I used the same technique as last night, but I wanted something in the foreground. Note to self: "Next time, don't use moving branches!" Tough to align, and tough to stack as a smart object. I have 64GB of ram on my PC and it was still working hard! I even got a "Photoshop scratch disk full error!" Had to change some Photoshop preferences. All good. It was still a lot of fun +learning! Now I'm thinking of getting a telescope and attaching the camera to the telescope! Hmmmm....someday. ;)
Settings:
Focal Length: 300mm (450 mm effective on crop sensor)
