I really love little bible studies with little butt and the big ways Jesus reminds me to trust who I am in His eyes as oppose to my resumes or my level of “having it together” #SheTheRoar#SHErefined#JesusCallingMeOut
one thing i’ve learned in my (albeit limited) experience over the years is the crucial importance of learning to deal with failure. i’ve realized that making mistakes is necessary for growth, and if you avoid them instead of embracing them, you will likely be stunted. if we were to see our human imperfection as a gift, i think we might be more likely to tap into our unique potential. ⠀
so if you’ve been getting frustrated about mistakes or missteps you’ve been making lately, know that you’re exactly where you need to be. recognizing + learning from a mistake is a perfect step in the right direction.
One of my favorite books in the Bible. 📜 God’s righteousness is revealed apart from His law but it’s displayed through having faith in Jesus Christ for anyone who believes. ‘For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.’ Romans 3:23 -
That’s why it must be taken as a free gift, freely received, and that is the gift of faith which could only come through Jesus redeeming the unredeemable. -
This incredible series continues this week. Hope to see you all there Xx ✨💛 Don’t forget to bring you Bible!!
The possibilities are endless with Christ 🙌🏻 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me!
OWNING YOUR POWER is not always as it seems. 〰️ Sometimes it’s speaking your truth, but other times it’s choosing peace. Sometimes it’s leaning in, and other times it’s attuning your energy elsewhere. Sometimes it looks like strength, and other times it looks soft, even “weak” to the onlooker. But true power doesn’t need to BE SEEN being “powerful.” It resides in grace, wisdom and simply rises higher. 🍃🕊
What does owning your power look like for you this weekend?
Since this page is fairly new I thought I’d officially say hi and introduce myself because I want to give you a bit of insight into my business and to get to know you better. ⠀
Most clients describe me as being loyal, honest and down to earth, but friends would tell you that I have a bit of a crazy adventurous spirit! 😁⠀
I’m passionate about photography because it allows me to celebrate life in all it’s fullness by being there to capture beautiful authentic moments that are cherished for years to come. I’m fascinated by the beauty of ‘the in-between moments’, the ones we often take for granted but that shape and mold us into who we are. ⠀
When I’m not shooting you’ll find me designing up a storm @careyslade and on weekends I’m either pottering with my pot plants or escaping the city altogether for some fresh mountain air. 🌿🌳⛰🚴🏻♀️🌲⠀
I once thought it was a good idea to run the Two Oceans Half Marathon, I don’t know what I was thinking, but I clearly like a challenge as last year I rode the 94.7 Cycle Challenge – never again. I look forward to getting to know you more, so leave a comment and introduce yourself. 👋⠀
