I'm so excited for a new month coming up because that's means it's time to mentor TEN new ladies for my March Mentorship!
Just a few short years ago I thought this was something I could NEVER DO. I was overweight + didnt want to leave my daughter to go back to fast food where I worked nearly TEN YEARS + had no idea how to workout or eat right + no social media following + I'm a College drop out who never had Hopes or dreams + literally had no CLUE whatsoever what I was doing and felt VERY unqualified. -
But there I was, signing up, probably shaking😂, and praying it was the right choice for my life. -
I'm now able to work from home with my girls by my side everyday.😭😭😭 I never had to go back to fast food. I make a weekly income that helps pay bills, groceries, savings, our mortgage, or FUN STUFF. I create my own hours around my family, I can work from anywhere with wifi, and the BIGGEST blessing has been ACCOUNTABILITY to my own journey. It's been the ONLY THING to Keep me on track. -
Now I SHARE MY JOURNEY and what works for me and help as many people as I can FIND themselves again. I feel like I'm finally doing what I was called to do. -

Last night was a full moon and I haven't done yoga in ages, so I decided to do just a short moon salute. It felt really good, so then I did a short meditation using the insight time app (anyone else use it or other apps they really like?), and worked on manifesting the rest of my week by focusing on a healthy and peaceful me. Setting that little piece of paper on fire feels good!
I'm not sure if it was the memories in my body from when I've been really active with yoga or the ceremony of doing something a little different for present me, but I feel more peaceful already.

Self Care Wednesday.... ‘is that even a thing?!’, you ask? Yep, it sure is! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Throughout my own personal work and growth, I’ve learned that self care has been the secret key to any success I’ve had in my life. To many this may sound ridiculous that something so simple & seemingly indulgent could make such a significant difference in the success experienced. But here’s what I’ve learned and what I coach others in realizing - every time you give yourself care, love and fill yourself up with the positive experiences and energy it craves, the Universe, God or whomever you believe in, creates space and the opportunity for you to receive more. When you give more, you receive more - especially when it comes to yourself & your dreams. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, even with this realization and commitment I had to do some work around the scheduling & making self care happen consistently and deliberately. Not just a little of this here and a little of that there... I had to really commit to myself, and that looked like surrendering to a weekly schedule to not only making it happen but also making it a non negotiable strategy for success. What the schedule also did was ensure that self care didn’t take over each & every day...because when you understand its power, you can VERY easily let it take over every available moment leaving you without a chance to do the world changing work that lights you & others up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
See, it’s all about finding that beautiful, harmonious balance...and that’s where an empowered & inspired schedule comes in. It allows you to do the work that lights your Soul up, which is about making a difference for others, but also ensures that you fill yourself up consistently as well... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So self care craving Soul, I have a question for you; Do you operate your day from an empowered schedule or one of absolute obligation? ...or maybe if you’re like ‘Old Natalie’.... ‘Ummmmm, what’s a schedule?!’ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Apparently I have figured it out...or at least I am going to pretend I have...for this morning at least.
I wondered for YEARS how moms did it!! I would see posts on social of muffins coming out of the oven at ridiculous o'clock and would wonder all the time how the hell they pulled it of...I mean I was still in my pjs, barely out of bed, or sometimes even still sound asleep by the time their muffins were done.
Then I created an early riser!! LOL
Ohhhh help me!!!
Now I understand. It isn't that all moms have it figured out, it's that you have no choice BUT to figure it out, and when your human gets up at ridiculous o'clock...YES that is NOW an official time...you have time to make muffins first thing in the morning.
The plus side is now we have a stash of healthy muffins for everyone to eat. This has actually been part of my breakfast this week, and Aiden LOVES them, so it's an added plus.
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 cup date sugar
Splash of vanilla (because I dislike measuring)
1/2 tsp baking powder
Mix it all together, and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. 🍌
See..not all figured out. I've just found things that work, keep the family healthy and take hardly any time. The extra cool part is that blueberries and banana don' need to be the only filling. What other fruits would you add in instead?
