Every person’s career operates on three levels: 1. WHAT we do 2. HOW we do it 3. WHY we do it We should all know what we do (the products we sell, the services we offer, the jobs we undertake). Some us know how we do it (the things that we think make us different from our competitors or stand out from the crowd). Very few of us can clearly articulate why we do what we do. Our WHY goes much deeper into understanding what motivates and inspires us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TIP: When pitching or attending a networking event, always ensure you include your why. Leading with your why has a deeper, more emotional and influential value. It highlights who you are and what you stand for, and will strengthen connection, trust and loyalty.
