Today's workout - a tuff high intensity interval session up a steep hill. If you are a cross-country skier, use your ski poles and do bounding imitations to involve your entire body. . ------------------------------------------------------------ . Make that interval session short if you don't have that much time. For ex. 10 minutes warm-up, 7x4 minutes interval with 2 minutes rest in between and followed by 10 minutes cool-down. If you have more time, spend more time on the warm-up and cool-down. . You don't need to do every workout snowskiing, unless you happen to live higher up in snow country. I don't and that's why I train with ski poles running up hills and indoor rowing. You can still get great results by skiing 2 - 4 times a week.
