Yin classes begin again very soon at The Lodge on Wednesdays and Fridays @ 1-2pm. I have an evening 8-9pm on Wednesday also in the pipeline, which will be here soon too. This quiet practise I can pretty much describe as having been a life changing addition to my own yoga practise and I am looking forward to sharing it with you. In many ways it has also opened up a stronger flow practise for me I am sure. Yin is the perfect place to appreciate and to find the beautiful balance so many of us search for in life. This is it. Do you tend to live in the past (regret, guilt etc)? Or in the future (all forms of fear)?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I tend to skew to the future. So, today is a day when I will live intentionally in the present by setting a reminder on my phone to pause every hour to practice yoga breathing. This brings me back into the bliss of the present moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Breathing is a powerful tool to take you out of anxiety and into your heart center. To keep it real (#TheYogisUniverse ) I didn't even know that I do pranayama🤷🏼‍♀️😅🙈 I did a research and found out that there're some types of it (I thought it's only alternate nostril breathing, aka anulom vilom 🤦🏼‍♀️) Yep, I have so much to learn and discover. Well, it turned out that : 🙌🏼#pranayama can be our natural breath, but we should pay attention to our mind.
