Chickpea noodle soup. Hearty and flavourful. 1 bowl was just enough to fill me up. Little D went shopping with me and picked out bug shaped noodles for this and they worked out great! #soup #veg#veg#vegans/a> #chickpea #chi#chickpeas/a> #chickpeas #vegansofwaterdown #vegansofhamilton #hamiltonvegan #waterdownvegan#vegancooking #veganfood #vegan #vegans #veganrecipes #plantbased #pla#plantbasedcooking #plantbaseddiet #plantbasedfood #plantbasedlife #poweredbyplants #poweredbyfood #veganmom #vegetarianfood #plantbasedcooking

Hey everyone here is my recipe from last nights post, hope you love it! Hidden Veggie Muffin Recipe: Dry ingredients: 3/4 cup gluten free oat flour (I use Bob's Red Mill) 1/2 cup brown rice flour 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ginger 1 Tbsp 365 Vanilla Maple Flax/chia mix Wet ingredients: 1 flax egg (1 Tbsp ground flax seed plus 3 Tbsp mixed and let sit 5 min) 1/3 cup oil of choice 1/3 cup maple syrup Vegetables: 1/3 -1/2 cup finely shredded carrot 1/3-1/2 cup finely shredded zuchini with its liquid Up to 1/3 cup finely chopped broccoli* In mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, then add vegetables and stir. Pour into muffin cups with liners. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. * play around with broccoli amount. The first time you make it you can start with less and build up. My daughter gets up to 1/3 cup without noticing a broccoli taste. Also make sure its FINELY chopped for kiddos who have texture issues. When choosing amounts of veges do remember that the more you put the less rise you will get. You will still have muffins they just may not rise quite as much the heavier on the veges you go. It's pretty forgiving so you should be able to modify as needed. #glutenfreevegan #wholefoodsmarket #deliciousfood #muffins #tasty #hiddenveggies #plantbaseddiet #yummy #kidapproved #allergenfree #cookingwithkids #bakedgoods #momwin #pickyeaters #veganlife #glutenfreerecipes #foo#foodie #bakinglife #food #momlife

I had 2 cliff bars for 120 calories each and a banana with peanut butter at 210 calories for snacks (I normally don't snack) I'm trying something new lol. #300tolife #accountability #foodaccountability #myweightlossjourney #goals #healthy #watchmelose #igotthisshit #plantbaseddiet #healthyeating #byebye300s #hellolife #winning #disipline #determined #dedication #healthylifestyle #extremeweightloss #caloriecounting

Vegan bodybuilding meal: Brown rice Frozen broccoli @gardein beefless tips @traderjoes Cuban style black beans Topped with hot sauce, nutritional yeast and black pepper. I personally never track calories or macronutrients. Instead, I just eat intuitively. Intuitive eating means understanding what foods roughly equal what macronutrients (and micronutrients). Here we have two proteins (tips and beans), two carbs (rice and beans), and a fibrous vegetable (broccoli). This is a good formula to that can be used to put together any meal when choosing ingredients. A protein source, a carb source, and a fiber source. Having all three in a meal will help keep you more satiated and energized, just as long as they’re whole foods and as unprocessed as possible. The beefless tips are of course processed, but there’s not too many ingredients in them and they’re derived from real foods. Plus they taste really good so sometimes they’re just on the menu despite that they’re processed. It’s good not to be too rigid about things and forget from time to time about the identity walls that we all put up. Eat adventurously and try things, instead of only eating foods to feed your food ideology. For me, it’ll never not be vegan, but even though I prefer to eat unprocessed whole foods, not EVERY single thing has to be an unprocessed whole food. Find that balance for yourself. Life is short, live a little 😎🍝🍰
