I cannot believe this year is almost over. Time just flies by. It is also the time that people start thinking of what the new year has in store for them and what goals they want to set for themselves. I have been thinking for while that I might take a step back from taking on new clients or really limiting the amount. The truth is the last few months have been really tough for many reasons. I do not feel that it is appropriate to get into personal details but depression and anxiety are rough. It is not fair to take on clients knowing I cannot give them my 100%. Turnaround time is a struggle for me right now and it is something I am disappointed in myself with. I have a lot of overdue work that I need to finish and maybe once I finally get caught up things will look easier and brighter. Only time will tell.
Do not worry, photography is something I truly love so I am not going anywhere. I just want to be fair and realistic.
One thing that has always been positive is how truly amazing our followers are. Right from the beginning you all have been so wonderful. Past clients have helped us pay overdue bills. Supporters have given us confidence to push forward, learn, and grow.
I hope that the new year surprises me and brings good things.
Thank you to all of you. To those clients still waiting on sessions, I promise they are coming <3 #livingthroughthelens#livingthroughthelensphotography#edmonton#yeg#yegpets#yegphotographer#dog#dogportrait#dogphotography#dogphotographer#pet#petportrait#petphotography#petphotographer#frenchbulldog#bulldog#sunset#flowercrown#naturallight#depression#anxiety
