Don't forgot your conditioning! 💦 @amy_thomason15 completing some battle rope slams with a lateral step between reps. We used this exercise for Amy's conditioning, as it requires her to produce an explosive, powerful action, followed by a quick and agile movement away. In terms of timings, this was completed for 8 rounds of 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest (aka Tabata) ⏱ This 2:1 work-to-rest ratio isn't far off the work-rest rest ratio documented in Karate bouts.
