I want to take a moment and discuss non scale victories!! This photo doesn’t do justice.
Having a heart murmur and being overweight I struggled a lot with long walks, shortness of breathe, taking long stairs.
I remember going to see my favorite band @paramore at Red Rocks in Denver and having so much difficulty walking the stairs to get in line to be checked in.
It was an embarrassing moment and a reality punch to the gut . Since January my heart rate has been fast, I notice on my health monitor that my rate has changed to normal. Two months dedicated to cutting out grains, having limited dairy and following a strict Paleo then Keto Diet helped.
I honestly was in disbelief when I noticed this victory. I knew I didn’t get as many chest pains or long winded but I didn’t connect the dots.
If your on the keto journey and your upset about the scales don’t be! So many little victories are happening and you may not even notice. Keep it up and continue forward on your journey! :)
