I always take away some protein bars and some high fibre cereal bars, but what about meals ❓ # 😍 I love to enjoy myself eating in restaurants on occasion, however after having a meal or two out of routine in a row I end up feeling a bit rubbish...all I want is some lean protein and veggies! πŸ₯¦πŸ₯πŸ₯© # πŸ‘‰ I improvised last night and grabbed some pasta salads, chicken breast and a sandwich. It may not be the healthiest of meals, but it’s certainly better (and cheaper) to do it this way. # πŸ‘If you want to enjoy yourself when you’re away, that’s absolutely fine, but you must remember your long-term goals. If you've ever wanted to see someone toe tap more than anyone else, shuffle their feet, fix their hair, adjust their shirt, check the plated weight, move too far back past the bench, re rack, pick the bar back up, have a chat to Dave, then do it all over again... just ask me to send you the first minute and a half of this video πŸ˜‚ The last time I did squats this heavy was without a bench and although it was my normal squat weight, I pushed to hard and hurt my back. I pretty much stopped doing squats after that, mainly because of fear, not so much the pain. Despite almost quitting multiple times before having ago this time, I got 10 reps out, albeit the last 3 were pretty questionable, I probably could have gone a few without the bench. It involves not looking overly pretty, lots of funny faces, and accepting I need to keep increasing my rep ranges at lower weights before I move up again, but I did it! Baby steps back to heavy squats - PB is coming!😏πŸ’ͺ😜
