New saddle for my tribike after the last 2 were a no go. 😥

Hip pain that surfaced last week 😥
I managed to get in for a last minute massage last night after my 3,000 yard swim 🏊🏻♀️ It helped 🙏🏻 A lot to deal with and no guarantee I’d be able to finish a 5hr 🚴🏻♀️ ride of rolling hills then a 40min run. I did everything I could the last few days to get relief so today would be the test. This would be my longest ride to date and on a brand new saddle was a bit worrisome. I’m glad I was able to finish without the saddle pain I experienced last week. The 3,400 feet of elevation to get us ready for Boulder was no joke. 😳 Bright side the new saddle is a go 😀
Now if the hip pain would just go away so that I can run pain free would be great. My coach’s recommendation is to skip my long run tomorrow to help my hip feel better. So lots of TLC the next few days. Sometime we just need to listen to our bodies and in my case listen to the advice of my coach so that I get to race day injury free. Still a great 2 days of training. 🙌🏻
