💕💕 Happy #facetofacefriday y’all!! This has been quite the journey for me. I’ve tried them all. Low carb, high carb, vegan, paleo, vegetarian, iifym, Keto.....what I’ve learned is that no matter what and how I’m eating, and yes, it’s still true that 80% of weightless is done in the kitchen, that 20% still matters, at least for me. You need to move that 🍑 and do it consistently to see results. Now everyone is different but this is what’s worked for me. I still catch myself looking in the mirror and do a double take. Who’s that looking at me 👀? Lol. Trust the routine y’all. I was the biggest critic and beat myself down after each workout and/or binge (that’s a real struggle for me still 🤷‍♀️) but if I can do it taking one day at a time, then so can you. On that note, question for y’all. Should I post workout videos? I love watching others and it scares me to even think about posting them on here. All negative Nancy critics will be blocked. Lol. #facetofacefriday #notmyhighestweight 🤦🏻‍♀️Weight loss can be a long process, and you should expect your mind to play tricks on you! 🤯When you’re eating in a deficit, especially for an extended period of time, there are all kinds of things hormonally that happen, to make you go nuts! I wrote about this in one of my blogs a few weeks back called, Girl Treat Yo Self. It’s all about how I use “cheat meals”, to reset my hormone levels and to save my mental sanity while dieting. I really feel like doing this has helped me continue my weight loss long term, and I’m so looking forward to having a good cheat meal tomorrow! 🤗 So if you’ve been dieting for a while, and you feel like you’re going nuts, just know you’re normal. It’s not because your will power sucks, or you’re weak, or you’re not disciplined enough. Your body is just doing what it was designed to do to keep you alive! I like to look at my weight loss and fitness like a game. I had to learn to pick up on the tricks my body and my mind play on me when I’m eating in a deficit and learn how to play the game! I don’t have any more will power than anyone else...I just learned the ways that I sabotage myself and figured out how to snap myself back. 🤗

I am trying everything right now not to be angry at this gain. This week I was PERFECT and listened to my body. I worked out hard for 4 days, pushing myself and then eating over my dailies on those days to make sure I eat enough for those hard workouts. I drank my water and I was smart in my decisions. I’m not going to lie, there better be a massive loss next week after my body adjusts to this type of activity and stops being out of whack. The thing that gets me is that my body fat percentage didn’t go down. It’s cool if the number on the scale was up a little but seriously?! I know I’m gaining more muscle and I’m happy about that. I guess I just have to keep reminding myself that muscle is denser than fat. I can’t let this get me down.
