How's everyone feeling lately? Good I hope 😘. I realised this morning I'm finally starting to accept my body and have some good moments where I'm actually happy with it πŸ˜πŸ‘. It's not where I want it to be but I'm actually proud of where I am. I started my little Instagram journey because I was massively struggling with photos of myself despite how far I had come.Β  I could now look in the mirror and accept what I saw more easily, but photos were still shock and disgust. So I thought, I taught myself to be able to look in the mirror by forcing myself to look every day.Β  I figured maybe a photo every day would work the same way for that.Β  Honestly it has helped! I've had a rough few weeks but rest assured my training has not suffered 😁πŸ’ͺ. I got a leg injury a while back, still not sure when πŸ€”. Thought I just had a tight muscle but it became very pronounced in the last few weeks and I had to get to the Osteopath. Nearly 3 weeks now without a proper leg session 😱😭😭😭 and at least 1 more to wait.Β Just a waiting game at the moment then we'll see😁. I've now got a bigger focus on upper body & abs.Β  Have had lots of fun researching new exercises (yup that was my weekend fun time πŸ˜‚) that I won't need my leg for excessive support/stability and am enjoying putting my focus on that. Also finally got my nutrition completely back on track after a nearly 3 month wobble. Not been awful but it's slowed me down and actually played a bit of havoc with my mental health. But I'm a happy bunny again now and looking forward to what the next month will bring πŸ˜ƒ. Lesson learnt today, it's damn hard to take a photo of your own back! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Sorry for the gap in posting! Been an busy time. Struggling to get decent pics of what I'm up to while I train alone and really struggle to just do a posing pic πŸ˜‚. Just not quite there with my own self image yet. . Super ill over the weekend didn't help and barely eating for 2 days due to this meant slow build back into training due to low energy. But I'm building back up, I always will 😁. . This morning I'm quite happy that the side definition on my abs is slowing creeping in as the pudgy bits go down 😁. Have some really lovely definition there plus on my arms that's actually really hard to get a pic of! But definitely the little toning boosts are my biggest gains the last few weeks. Took my ab day to my 2 gym pals Friday night. Was super chuffed when they bailed out after the first of 3 sets on one glorious superset, I continued on through with the whole thing, grinning like a Cheshire cat πŸ˜‚. . They have both been gym-ing about 2 years longer than me, double proud πŸ˜‚. . So so sooooo close on my pistol squats, training has dipped on legs as still having real problems with my left leg. But my right leg is really close to managing a pistol squat unsupported.
