➖SUMMER SHAPE➖ The second phase to this summer shape plan is EXERCISE. . Is it a massive surprise to know that humans aren’t meant to be sedentary? . Of course not, but still many people find themselves being both sedentary and exercising less. This is something we have to change immediately if you’re looking to better your summer shape. . It’s vital to understand that to create the summer shape you want, it won’t be down to one particular exercise or workout. It’s a combo of your food/energy balance and training! . 🔴Part 1🔴 How long should you aim for when looking to exercise? Good question! . I would recommend exercising 2-3 sessions of 45-60 minutes for beginners and 4-5 sessions of 45-60 minutes for more advanced people. . There are many ways to get yourself going, but here’s a few: ➖Walking ➖Swimming ➖Running ➖Gym (cardio and resistance) ➖Exercise class . If you’re wondering how and what to do in the gym, then I would heavily suggest asking an instructor or personal trainer for guidance. . It might seem scary to ask, but I am sure they will be more than willing to help assist you, with a start up program for any imbalances (muscles) and corrective methods, with the benefit of a general body tone plan. . 🔴Part 2🔴 When it comes to cardio, I recommend adding a variety of things into your plan. . Add things like HIIT training on the bike, some hill walks on the treadmill or even a rowing challenge. However this is all dependant on your ability and circumstances of course. . Particular resistance training programs include; body part splits, which offer a more divided approach, compared to the push/pull workouts, that allows the training of related muscles groups together. .
