Transitions. There's where we are & there's where we want to be. I don't think the importance of the transition is emphasized enough. No matter where you want to be, what type of goal it is, it can take blood, sweat, tears, and often a long time to get there. Frustration, fear, anxiety, and anger can surface. The transition is what can & will cause people to revert back to what is comfortable and turn away from the unknown even if the end goal is everything they've ever wanted. If we aren't aware of the transition periods in our lives and how they affect us we may find ourselves stuck in our current position in life. The transition doesn't have to be negative or dreaded -- it's a time of tremendous growth at the very least. If you focus on the journey, one step at a time, the positive aspects and things you're learning along the way, you'll see it's just another wave in the ocean of life; a stop along the way to your next destination.
