After 9 days, the hold this #migraine has had upon me has finally released its grip. Cause for celebration!! πŸ»πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ!!! * * Hmm...πŸ‘©πŸ» πŸ’¨...maybe very quiet celebration. No need to bring on the next migraine any sooner than it's going to. All my #migraineur people know what I mean! * * In truth, it's not 100% gone, but it's very dull, so I'm a happy camper again. Well...as happy as #garfield is with #nermal around, anyhow.

If you’ve been following along our story, you’ve seen that Dr. Harcourt and Mallory have been visiting Portland, Oregon this weekend! While there, they were able to connect with a patient from a few years ago, Claire. Claire had debilitating migraines to the point she had to leave Portland and move back home with her parents because she could not continue school or work... Then she found us! That was 2 years ago and she is still doing great. She looks super happy, healthy and told us today she is moving to AUSTRALIA for a year, because why not?! She’s an awesome person and we are so happy for her!!! #livinglife #migrainefree

As I battle a migraine today, I reflect on everything I have tried for relief. Countless medications with various side effects have come and gone. What has been most successful is a cocktail of supplements. . Exercise has been an enormous piece of my migraine plan. I was the woman who'd scoff when doctors would nudge me to workout, ensuring it would help. How could I workout if I could barely stand? But I feel best when I work out consistently and, when I have a mild migraine, I feel best whole working out. . . And then there's this shake. There are so many different recipes, but taking it consistently has seriously decreased my migraines. When I started drinking it, I'd have it 3-4 times a week. I was missing doses of supplements and *feeling* it. I was having symptoms of my migraines and having a hard time getting through my workouts. Now, I drink this shake EVERY. MORNING. And I only need half my supplements without feeling the side effects! Say what?!? . . When you have chronic migraine, or any chronic pain, it can be scary to try something new. I was T H E R E! But I urge you to try this and, if you absolutely hate it, you'll get your money back! Message me or comment below for more info!!

Today, I will get myself organized for the week. . . That is what Sundays have become for me. If I use my time on a Sunday to organize for the week, I find the week is much more successful! I eat better, stick to my workouts, and feel calmer. So it makes every second I prepare on a Sunday worth it! . . How do you get ready for the week ahead?!?
