Every morning I wake up and have to think about what I am going to wear today! 🤷‍♀️Do you have this problem? I really need to decide this the night before because that can take a lot of time I don’t have in the mornings! 🤦‍♀️This morning I decided to go with the new stuff from @stitchfix . I have been trying them out to see if they can push me out of my comfort zone with my wardrobe. I have been going through a fashion transformation for a couple of years now. I have decided that I prefer a more feminine wardrobe than what I had before. What do you think?💜 Transformations come in all ways. I believe we transform ourselves constantly. Even our values and priorities change over time. There are parts of us that will always remain. Those things that make us who we are. Even that can change a bit… I was a pessimist most of my life before a few years ago. Now I have hope…. With hope you have to take action. 💜 So I take action, every day. 💜I wake up and journal. Practice gratitude. Work out. Fuel my body well. Practice kindness. Listen to personal development. Constantly growing. Check into my accountability and support groups. Are you lazy? Do you procrastinate? Make excuses? Have bad habits? • If so, here’s 5 easy-peasy changes you can make today. • Let Your Actions Speak Louder Than Your Words: Act the way you want to feel. I feel like one of the biggest roadblocks to our success isn't awareness or knowing what to do- it's following through and acting on it. • Daily Do's: Adopt the philosophy that "what I do every day matters more than what I do every once in a while." • Don't Make It Worse: Binging on crap-food after eating right all week won't make you feel better. Choose wise self-care strategies that are a win-win. • Be Detail-Oriented: Be specific in what you monitor and be able to count it. Instead of saying you're going to eat low carb during the week, say that you're not going to eat over 100 grams of carbs per day. • External Accountability: If you lack internal accountability like me, you need to find some external accountability to keep you on track. For me, my smart watch, my food tracker app and my husband help me with this. Find yourself some accountability outside of yourself. We are not born with thoughts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As we grow, we take in what we hear and see and that begins to shape our view of the world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These thoughts come from our parents, our babysitters, friends, teachers, tv commercials, ads, pretty much anyone or any thing we come in contact with... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌ “Only skinny girls are beautiful.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌ “Don’t eat that or you’ll get fat.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌ “You’ll never be a dancer because you don’t have to body for it.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌ “You’d be prettier if you wore a little makeup.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌ “Don’t have a strong personality or people will think your bitchy.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The decision is made for us before we we even have the chance to determine our own thoughts and beliefs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Unfortunately, some people spend the entirety of their lives living within the confines of these limiting beliefs that they never chose and never questioned. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Luckily, we are self aware and have the ability to think about and reflect on our thoughts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ At any point in time you can question the thoughts and perceptions you have and begin creating a new thought process for yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just because someone else says or thinks something does NOT make it true... and it certainly does NOT make it true for you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re having trouble identifying your own limiting beliefs, or if you would like to dive deeper into this topic, grab a spot in my calendar and let’s chat! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What’s one believe you’ve had (or have) that you chose to let go of?
