Crafting a masterpiece • I love how you lifting with different rep ranges can just change your physical appearance so much. Like there’s a reason why you should be incorporating both low reps and high reps within your workout. It changes the game a lot. • Doing light weight but a lot of reps, so 12 reps or more. Causes you to burn more calories, get more definition in your muscles, gets you stronger rep wise - so you can do the weight for a longer period of time, and increases your metabolism for after the workout. • Doing low reps and heavy weight, so like 8 reps or lower. Causes you to get stronger, builds more muscle mass, burn a few calories not as much as doing higher reps though. • I usually like to focus on doing my low reps and heavy sets with the compact movements which should be the first things to do within your workout. These would include exercises such as the bench press, squat, or deadlift. The ones where you want to focus on reps more would be your isolation movements - exercises such as flys, lateral raises, and Dumbbell curls. Some days I like to switch it up and focus on reps for everything. Most of the time I like to do both because who doesn’t want to do both, am I right? • Comment your favorite isolation exercise
