🚫YOUR WORKOUT DOESNT HAVE TO BE TWO HOURS TO BE EFFECTIVE🚫 I’ve talked about it before but I can’t stress the importance of it enough... Due to excess oxygen consumption and increased heart rate post workout, you will burn extra calories after your workout. And if your goal isn’t to burn calories a shorter workout will do too. Yesterday I did 5/7 of my usual leg day excercises and it only took my 40 minutes instead of 90⏰. I went less heavy but I also took less rest. A progressive overload doesn’t have to be in the form of more weight. It could also be less rest, more reps or it could be harder on your endurance etcetc. If you’re at the gym for two hours and you rest for 1 hour during that session... you might as well save yourself an hour and go all out for an hour🤷🏽‍♀️.
