At the end of the day do you go to sleep feeling like you didn’t complete everything on your list? . I tend to put way too much on my list and then focus on what I didn’t get done rather then everything I did get done. Thankfully I have the best husband who consistently reminds me how much he appreciates me. I am learning to be more realistic with my list of things to do so I don’t end the day upset I didn’t get it all done. Giving myself permission to feel good about what I accomplish not matter what it is so important. . Anyone else struggle with the constant nagging feeling of never having anything accomplished?

Attention ladies, busy moms, or anyone else who might feel discouraged when you see "perfect" women on the internets who seem like they've got it all going for them. Please remember you are seeing highlight reels here, and what often looks like perfection is FAR from it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It is never my intention to be anything less than real, honest and open. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In case there is any doubt, I am just an average ordinary mom and SO far from perfect! I mess up, fall off track and feel bloated and gross from time to time. I occasionally eat pizza, drink beer and have a serious addiction to potato chips. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have a muffin top, loose skin, scars and stretch marks from having 4 kids, 4 c-sections and lots of weight fluctuations over the years. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ From the mom who used to feel tired, frustrated and uncomfortable in my own skin, I know what it feels like (and looks like) to struggle and want to give up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And social media doesn't help. The newsfeed is full of perfect images. Just remember the lighting, high-waisted leggings, angles and apps that helped to create that illusion! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Life is hard enough without constantly trying to live up to some super unrealistic, manufactured expectations of what 'fit and healthy' should look like. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If 6 pack abs is your goal, I'm probably not going to be your go-to gal. But if you're looking for balance, and a focus on progress over perfection, than I would love to tell you more about my virtual bootcamp where busy women support and encourage each other! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My goal for the next six weeks is to keep myself sane through daily workouts, eat as much healthy food as possible (but some of my favorite holiday treats, too!) and most importantly enjoy the holidays! *Maintain - not gain!* ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Want to join us? Remember all that laundry I showed you on Friday? Well I’m finally getting to it. . Have you thought about why is it important to use safe laundry detergent? . Well first, it affects the entire family. Yes you are not rubbing it on your skin but you are wearing clothes, drying off with towels, and sleeping in sheets washed in those chemicals. All of this is transferred onto your skin and absorb into your body. . Sadly these chemicals are endocrine disruptors, mimicking estrogen and causing hormonal problems as well as impacting our brain, central nervous system, kidneys, liver, skin and more. Awareness is key to making lasting changes and helping others make healthier choices so make sure to do research on the products you are using. . When I first started ditching and switching all my products I used an app called think dirty. Try it out on all the products you are using in your home.
