Here is the Romantic Braided Updo by @tatsuoni! My hair is very slippery so pinning headbands is a challenge. I tried to fix this by making two French lace braids at the front to give something extra to pin into when crossing the braids over my head. It worked! If I try this again, I'll see if I can get the headband more forward. This style is very comfortable as the weight is dispersed evenly.

Cristina Bahamonde is working @cern as an #engineer in the #lhc Large Hadron Collider and its long-term upgrade High Luminosity LHC.
Cristina obtained her BSc & MSc in Chemical Engineering in her hometown university of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and her MSc in Nuclear Engineering in the University of Utah (US). After working in the nanomaterials industry and a radiochemistry lab doing environmentally friendly uranium mining, she currently works protecting sensitive equipment in the LHC.
She calculates if there is a risk of damaging magnets, electronics and other delicate instruments snd helps designing and evaluating appropriate mitigation strategies
She is also responsible for the operational follow-up of protective devices and the technical coordination of interventions and new equipment installations.
