PRE-PRIDE PERSONAL SAFETY & AWARENESS WORKSHOP
This Saturday, 11AM at The Woman's Club Of Minneapolis LINK IN BIO to register.
For those of you who have been to @twincitiespride in the past, you already know how much fun it can be. You may have also noticed some risks that resurface every year with crowds of this size, compounded by the closed streets and even homophobic protesters.
That's why the Situational Awareness Workshop is back this year for anyone going to Pride Festival. The one hour class uses role players, scenario style exercises, and professional guidance to demonstrate how to not look like an easy target, notice pre-threat warning signs, and even de-escalation techniques that will help you feel safer in this most wonderful time of the year.
Taught by a Marine and role-played by fellow veterans, our unique experiences all across the world can help you feel safer in complex environments like Pride Festival.
