KEY LIME BAKED ALASKA with a raspberry-mint sauce and a homemade toasted graham crust . Tart, sweet, explosive flavor that made me so excited for the months of delicious citrus and berries that we have ahead of us...and it was a beauty.

STEAK NIGHT IN FT LAUDERDALE. . . Sometimes I research by awards, sometimes by website, but today I just searched “DRY AGED BEEF FT LAUDERDALE” and this place popped right up at the top. After a wonderful few courses of appetizers, soup and salad, I went outside for a little break. While checking my phone, I found that this is a restaurant from the famed Stephen Starr, well known in Philadelphia and in the country, mainly because Mr. Starr was the recipient of “OUTSTANDING RESTAURANTEUR” FROM JAMES BEARD in 2017. This establishment reflects his dedication to creativity, but most of all, well-sourced ingredients that speak for themselves. In addition, many of his restaurants are known for making everything in house from all the sauces even down to CHURNING THEIR OWN AMAZING BUTTER. The only restaurant I’ve ever added to my Florida list before the entrees. Yes, that good. . . - 50 day dry aged NY strip. Beautifully marbled, swipe for it. . - Filet Mignon. . - Chopped Salad with radicchio, frisée, romaine, radish, snap peas, corn, celery, peppers, scallions, avocado, tomatoes in an oregano vinaigrette. . - AMAZING lobster bisque. . - Hash Browns stuffed with scalloped potatoes. . - Asparagus with a hollandaise. . - THE BEST Bread I’ve had down here. Amazing buttery, eggy, airy cheddar loaves. The smell from the egg and butter reminded me of pancakes in the best way AND it was GORGEOUS.
