Thanksgiving have you anxious about overeating and feeling miserable at the days' end? Here are a few tips to help you your turkey day indulgences:⠀ ⠀ 1. Exercise! Before the festivities begin, save some time this morning to get a workout in. A turkey trot, Hiit for pies workout, anything that will burn a few calories and kickstart that metabolism for the day.⠀ ⠀ 2. Offer to bring a healthy side dish. For instance, bring your own sweet potatoes and now when you are walking through the food line at family Thanksgiving you have a healthy alternative over the sweet potatoes loaded with marshmallows and sugar. ⠀ ⠀ 3. Eat slowly. It takes at least 20 minutes for your brain to realize you’re full. Enjoy the flavors and cherish the conversations you are having at the table.⠀ ⠀ 4. Choose wisely when it comes to dessert! No food is on the naughty list. Pick the dishes you really love and can’t get any other time of year, and enjoy!⠀ ⠀ 5. Keep moving. Get moving with friends and family, such as taking a walk after a holiday meal.
