Selain karena benturan di bagian luar siku (tear), yang paling sering menjadi penyebab adalah melakukan gerakan yang sama berulang2 dalam waktu yang cukup lama bisa bulanan atau tahunan tergantung kekuatan ototnya, contohnya orang yang rutin mengendarai motor, posisi genggaman yang sama dan berulang2 dalam waktu yang lama itu yang menyebabkan cedera. Apa yang harus dilakukan? Pertama stop (istirahat) dari melakukan gerakan yang menyebabkan cedera tersebut (pengendara motor mulailah naik g*jek 😁), minum ibuprofen untuk mengurangi nyeri. Setelah hilang rasa sakit, sebaiknya di terapi untuk menghilangkan spasm di bagian otot lengan bawah.
