How To Keep Your Results Once You Finish Your Diet ------------------------------------------- This is a big problem for beginners and even some of the more experienced dieters. You crush a diet, get great results, then the diet ends..... now what? ------------------------------------------- There are typically two primary mistakes that lead to the loss of most or all progress accumulated during the diet. ------------------------------------------- 1. They don't know what to do so they simply keep dieting. The resulting psychological and physiological stress soon leads to a complete departure from dieting and dietary restraint. This often leads to a significant backslide. ------------------------------------------- 2. They are relieved to be done and immediately drop dietary restraint and structure which once again often lesds to a loss of their hard earned progress. ------------------------------------------- One of the most effective ways i've utilized came by recommendation through @rpdrmike who advocates setting your calories at a maintenance and taking a 1-3 month maintenance period. Under most circumstances my opinion is that 2-3 months is yeilds better results and 1 month is typically reserved for very experienced individuals. I personally take 2-3 month diet breaks, so be hardcore and error on the side of caution. Keep in mind this is not the final product of your labors, it's simply one iteration. ------------------------------------------- Once the break is over, you can begin your next diet. But how do you determine your maintenance calories? Again i use Dr. Mike's recommendations. Take your current caloric intake, then calculate your estimated maintenance and take the average. So if you are currently taking in 2500kcal and your estimated maintenance is 3000kcal set your new target to 2750kcal. ------------------------------------------- Initial fluctuations in weight may occur for numerous reasons but typically equalize over the span of a few weeks.

Been loving my sweet potatoes in the air fryer this week! Chop them up, add a little olive oil or cooking spray, and air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking sweet potatoes halfway through. I’ve been using @idealfit Jamaican Jerk seasoning. I love sautéing kale (the ONLY way I’ll eat it) with @aidellssausage Chicken & Apple (or if you’re near @traderjoes and counting macros then use their chicken sausage because the macros are half the fat🤤). Anyone have an air fryer?! What do you love using yours for? Need-to-know basis!!!
