Happy Friday 🎄🎄🎄... but don’t let this photo fool you, this is our tree from last year. I love this time of year + while I can’t wait to deck the halls in our house I can’t bring myself to do it until Turkey Day is over 🤷‍♀️. Anyway we used a faux flocked tree for the first time last year and I LOVED it, so Shop my favorite flocked trees and Christmas decor when you follow me on the @liketoknow.it app or using the shop tab on the blog! http://liketk.it/2yhxH #liketkit #LTKfamily #LTKunder100 #LTKkids #ltkholidaystyle #christmasdecor #homedecor #friyay

Now that we are In our own house, I got very excited to decorate for the holidays this year especially since I always wanted to have a mantle to decorate! Since we celebrate both Hanukah and Christmas, I decided to go with a neutral gold and white winter theme. I got everything at target and homesense and I’m obsessed with all of it! I can’t wait to add some more 😝 has anyone else taken the plunge and decorated for the holidays yet? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #mommyblogger #motherhoodunplugged #mot#motherhoodrising #clickinmoms #instamom #igmoms #honestlymothering #motherhoodunhinged #ohheymama #unitemotherhood #parenthoodmoments #motherhoodrising #mamarazzi #lifestyleblogger #inbeautyandchaos #joyfulmamas #targetdoesitagain #homesense #homegoods #homedecor

Here is the comparison between @megablocks and @lego When I had to buy blocks for Raisha, I was really confused about what to go for among these 2 brands and I did not find any suggestions or help on the internet comparing the two. So I am sharing my experience and hope it will help you decide which one to go for. Megablocks: 🔳These are chunky blocks perfect for little hands to hold and work on them. 🔳Can be introduce from 1+ year onwards. 🔳These are more waldrof based as they don't have a theme as such and your child is free to imagine and create his own creations. 🔳The colours are bright and I feel young children would pick this up over legos. 🔳They are safe enough for the little ones as they are from the trusted @fisherprice.baby Major con: Most of the blocks are loose, mostly the single ones, it does irritate the kids who are trying to build towers. The towers with megablocks will not stand sturdy. This is one major con of megablocks for which I am not a big fan of them. 📌You can start by introducing megablocks to your 1 plus kids, go for the very basic set of 60blocks. It should be more than enough as these have better variety than the 250 set. Legos: 🔲Legos are very well made and only the first look at it, you will fall in love with these blocks. 🔲They are super sturdy, they snugly fit with a click sound which is very satisfying for the kids. 🔲Legos are more organised and have a theme with each of their set, so the child has a clear idea on what to build out of it and then create his own story around it. 🔲Legos are definitely for older kids. 🔲Lego is much better quality wise and looks great in the nursery. Con: they are very expensive. Our experience: At 20 months, Raisha is only interested in joining the blocks of same sizes and she is loving megablocks for now as it has more blocks but does get frustrated with the loose blocks (not all blocks are loose) she imagines her creations to be a baby, a cake and that's why I say it is #waldorf based as it enhances imagination. You can start with megablocks and move to legos. Once the kid starts building towers out of different sized megablocks, he will be ready for legos.

Sometimes I like my work more than my kids 🤭. . Whoa, I’m just dropping 💣 all over this week! But don’t worry, you can hold off the judgement for just a second. I said like, not love... . Please , I always love my kids 💯 more than anything in the world. After they go to bed Eric and I basically spend an hour talking about how amazing they are, all the funny things they did that day, and we pretty much feel like they are the best people we know! 🥰. . But last night I was invited to speak to a women’s @mops_international group in Minneapolis and let me tell ya, I was more than happy to miss bedtime in order to teach these women how to be empowered by their wardrobe and have confidence in their style! 🤗. . I think about @fashionfixmn day and night, and afternoons too 🤣! When I see women feel heard, understood, connected, and cared for my heart is leaping in side! I’m constantly brain storming new topics to talk about, new tools and guides to create, new workshops to teach! All to give women the confidence and empowerment they deserve! 💃. . So yeah, when I’m in the middle of working on a talk or blog post or trying to connect with a client a feel alive and that means I have to miss a few bedtimes and that’s ok! Because on the other side they are going to see what it looks like to have a mom who lives a mission and cares for others!👩‍👧‍👦. . Can I get an amen 🙋‍♀️ I know there are other mamas out there struggling through the same thing , don’t leave me hanging! Tell me about, how are you juggling a career you love and being a mom?. . . . . . . . . . #mompreneur #momproblems #momlife #workingmom #workingmomlife #wfhm #sahm #momstruggles #minneapolismom #twincitiesmom #twincitiesmomsblog #momofinstagram #igmoms
