Chocolate in the morning because after last night's kicking mommy in the face party by my twin toddlers I deserve it 😂 This is (and always will be I'm sure) my favourite healthy way to get my chocolate fix in! All you need is some chia seeds, plant milk, cacao powder, maple syrup, dash of salt and lots of toppings of course😍 Shake this beauty up, cover and place in the refrigerator overnight. You can even blend for a creamy texture 😋 In the morning eat as is OR create a mini parfait with pretty much anything you have; banana, raspberry, coconut, granola, etc. Layer with the chocolate chia! ⁣ Raise your hand if you’re happy it’s the weekend! ✋😎🤚⁣ Gluten Free & Vegan Double Chocolate Cookie Recipe 🍪🍪 By @sugaredcoconut⁣ .⁣ Ingredients:⁣ 1 Cup Coconut Sugar⁣ 1/2 Cup Vegan Butter⁣ 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract⁣ 1 Tsp Peppermint Extract (optional)⁣ 1 Cup Oat Flour⁣ 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon⁣ 1/2 Cup + 2 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder⁣ 1 Tsp Baking Soda⁣ 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder⁣ 1/2 Tsp Pink Salt⁣ 2 Tbsp Full Fat Coconut Mylk⁣ 1 Cup Vegan Chocolate Chips⁣ .⁣ Directions:⁣ .⁣ 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.⁣ 2. Cream together softened vegan butter, sugar, and vanilla. ⁣ 3. Super quick smoothie bowl I tried these smoothie bowls for my kids last night, in the hope that they would substitute dessert. Success! The seven year old wanted more! (Of course, the three year old refused to try it, but I plan to keep working on her) The green smoothie had spinach, kale, broccoli, kiwi, banana and black grapes. The pink smoothie had yoghurt, strawberries, oats, chia, vanilla, and a tiny bit of honey. Packed full of nutrients.
