The Edge 8 Week Challenge has officially begun! I'm excited to announce Momma G-Fit (my mom) is on my team (Team.Goal.Getters). 78 years young, kick butt and smiling the whole way! Last night to kick it off she held a PERFECT PLANK for 3 minutes and 27 seconds!!! This was a solid plank with no movement and perfectly straight. Good morning! Here's your friendly #enby reminder that, if you are going to exercise (including running), don't wear your binder. Opt for a high-impact sports bra. Regular sports bras might work if you're small on top, but for us with bigger... pecs >.>... you're gonna need something high-impact. . P.S. I don't know if I updated my IG audience or not, but my lab results came back and found that I was distressingly anemic. Doc put me on iron tablets asap, and I've been taking them all this week. I'm absolutely amazed at the difference it's made. My tinnitus is mostly gone, I haven't gotten lightheaded or dizzy, and I have infinitely less fatigue. For instance, last week when I wasn't taking the tablet, I accidentally slept for 16 hrs one day because I was so exhausted. That was followed, the very next day, by sleeping 13 hrs. For the last two days (after having iron levels back to normal in my system), I've popped awake at 7am feeling refreshed and wonderful. . If you are struggling with fatigue or lightheadedness, consider getting your iron levels tested. My labs came out completely normal for bp, sugar, cholesterol, and all the others, which I had mistakenly attributed to my condition. Iron levels are important, too! Go eat some broccoli or kale today. You'll feel so much better. . P.S.S. I still haven't gotten in with an endocrinologist yet, and my next ENT appt to test for APD is in October.
