James Dyson (of vacuum cleaner fame) built 5,127 prototypes before he created the winning model... In other words, he experienced 5,126 failures before reaching his goal.
Imagine having the resilience to try and fail over five thousand times... When asked about the secret to his grit, he said: “Just when you’ve had enough, and you think you’re never going to get the answer, that’s the point where you must try even harder. Because that’s the point where everybody else gave up. So you must go through that pain barrier in order to succeed." Success is not about being smarter, faster, stronger - it’s about trying and failing over and over, until you don’t fail anymore. As long as you’re learning from your failures and continuing to move forward, you’re growing and getting closer and closer to getting it right.
So in case you needed a reminder to keep on keeping on... This is it. 💪 You’ve got this - don’t let little setbacks stop you from achieving your fullest potential! 💫
