Without #goals you won't push yourself to do better. I have two #fitness goals for this month: 1. To move from four #kettlebell workouts of Simple and Sinister to five per week. Tomorrow will be my first five workout week. 2. To finish one set on each side from the 12kg (26lb) kettlebell to the 16kg (35lb) bell in my Turkish Get Ups. “EXCUSES = LIES” About 3 months ago I believed in killing hate and that there was good in everyone deep down. I didn’t believe school shooters or animal torturers/killers or even rapists were absolutely bad, I believed they were raised the wrong way and had lived horrible things. Now I have to admit that I understand and know that evil is real. It doesn’t matter wether they lived horrible things as children, rapists or killers are EVIL. Their past cannot be used as a reason to excuse their SINS. There’s plenty of amazing people who lived unimaginable things as kids but as grown ups lived to make the world around them better. That is where the quote “All your excuse are lies” takes all its meaning. This sentence doesn’t only apply on terrible situations, it also applies to each of us in our daily life. It applies when you say: “I won’t go to the gym, I’ve got homeworks to do” or “I won’t do my homeworks I’ve got to go the gym” or whatever b.s. you tell yourself to make yourself feel “better” for slacking off. Don’t justify yourself anymore, stop covering up your ego. Accept that you’re wrong. Don’t justify yourself to others either, if you’ve done something wrong, OWN IT, own that mistake, say “ok, you’re right I’m sorry », learn and go forward. You are responsible for EVERYTHING you do and for anything you do with your negative thoughts. Are you going to let those weak thoughts define you?
