⚡️THROWBACK THURSDAY ⚡️ . A lot of you are new to my page and I get asked a lot about my back story. Have I always been fit? The answer is no. Long story short, I was always an athlete growing up. Had three children and gained over 100lbs PLUS with EACH of my three kids. I yo yo dieted for YEARS, always looking for a quick fix..and at some point completely gave up weighing at my highest 280lbs. I became the “kids mom.” My “husbands wife.” I felt total guilt in taking any time for myself. I never did “GNO’s” when my kids were young, hardly ever let lose, never had ME time, felt guilty not making it about them 24/7. I was a mom, not Diana....and that was that! . . A life changing event catapulted me to where I’m at now. SOME family and friends have had a hard time watching me transform....BUT.......it’s not selfish, it’s a necessity. Look at the girl on the left. She was uncomfortable, unhappy, not fun to be around, lazy, depressed, never wanted to leave the house. Working out and getting fit I became (as you can tell by the posture in pic right) more confident, more self aware, kinder, healthier, mentally sharper, empowered. Do you notice these things have nothing to do with aesthetics?? For me it’s all about the FEELS! Feeling confident, feeling healthy, feeling strong, feeling empowered! . I stay motivated because I never want to FEEL like the women on the left......ever again. Truthfully it’s EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE to share this particular picture...I remember that feeling so felt that night-and it was a terrible way to live!! If I can do it anyone can!
