Rest is a huge part of football. If you don't rest you will inevitably get injured. Even the best professionals take rest days. I recommend that you take one to two rest days per week to make sure that you can preform at your best. If you are training to much and are always tired you will not be able to preform as well in the game. If you can't preform well in your games then your training is pointless. When thinking of rest days you have to think that the reason that you train is to play well in your games, so you can't be tired.
