So nutritious, so simple and so quick. It took me maybe five minutes to make/compile this vegan bowl. My kind of food! . * Greens (kale, pac choy, radicchio, katuk, moringa) and lots of basil from my garden chopped in a food processor with yardlong beans (from a local farm @wordenfarm ), nutritional yeast, dulse flakes, avocado and dijon mustard. This took about two minutes to make. * Chopped okra, peppers (also from Worden) and cherry tomatoes. Another two minutes. * Air-fryer roasted chipotle eggplant. I made this last night. See recipe below. * Dehydrated greens from my garden sprinkled on top. These were also made previously. All I did was wash greens and put them in my dehydrator overnight. . 😫TEETHING SUCKS!!!!! ⁠Like REALLY REALLY REEEEEALLY SUCKS!⁠ ⁠ 0% of parents like the 'teething' phase. ZERO! It's no fun for the baby, it is no fun for the parents. You don't sleep, your baby is in pain and you feel so beyond helpless. No matter what way you look at it though, there are 20 little teeth that have to make their appearance and any help you can get to make those 20 teeth pop down easier, take it!⁠ ⁠ I have gone through 60 teeth popping down. Although 'popping' seems too light a word. Canadian Thanksgiving dinner last night = delicious leftover lunch today. Since all the family is in Canada, we decided to do a small version of a Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey legs in the oven on 400F for 40 mins, then crisped up on the grill! Tuesday Tip of the Day: I know you have probably heard of you can’t out run a bad diet. Well this true. Exercise is beneficial for health reasons, but it’s not the only component of fat loss. There are several factors that play into the fat loss with our diet. Do you know how many calories you are eating? We tend to under or overestimate our required caloric intake. You can't manage what you don't track! Some people reward themselves after their workout when they see 700 calories burned. Oh boy! I can eat 700 more calories. This may not be beneficial if you are working of losing fat. The Western diet is full of processed, quick on the go foods that are not fueling your body properly. When comparing diet and exercise, changing your diet tends to be more effective for weight loss than exercise. But both play an important part in your healthy lifestyle. You want to make sure your have your required calories for each day so you do not under eat and lose muscle. Adding in the exercise with resistant training helps prevent muscle loss.
