I think it is really difficult to create abstract artwork because the thought process behind it is also abstract-you have to be intentional and purposeful without actually being intentional and purposeful in the process. This is the progression of an already abstract collage to a composition that is even more abstract. I did enjoy challenging myself, and I learned how to take pieces of a concept and render them differently. I had to make this in class, and there was supposed to be some kind of symbolism within the project. I believe life is just so fast paced, and everyone is running on multiple clocks, trying to fit everything important into our daily lives, while also leaving a lasting output that could potentially transform into legacy. Thoughts are entangled with so many different things relating to that, and I think this is sort of representative of that.
