Initially, I didn't really grasp the effort it would take to truly boycott a nationwide, nay WORLDwide, Institution. One would have to immediately leave from, or maybe not evem go to, establishments that show any NFL related programming on their TVs. That means no Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters. No barber shops, bars, the break room at work, the laundromat. No electronics patronage at Walmart, Target, or Kmart. No Best Buy at all. Then there are your sports-centric friends and family. That's gonna be tough being honest as to why you won't come over for Thanksgiving, Super Bowl Sunday, New Year's Day pro bowl, Labor Day. I've contemplated how I would handle these situations. I'm not sure I could do it, at least not at first. Walking into an establishment, or even a friend's house, and seeing the NFL on the TV, and just... Walking out. How would you guys handle it? If you were going to truly boycott the NFL, what would you do?
