The last couple days I was mainly listenings to atmospheric music.
Lots of Post Rock and blackgaze etc.
1. Woman Is The Earth - Torch of our final Night
Probably one of my favourite atmospheric black metal bands. This album is hauntingly beautiful and dense.
2. Mono - Hymn to the immortal Wind
My all time fav Post Rock record by one the essential bands of the genre.
It's lush and intimate with crescendos that will make you shiver. Pure emotion cought in sound.
3. HERETOIR - The Circle
One of the best blackgaze bands with an album that is as close to perfection as it gets.
Inspired by genre giants like Alcest they give this style their own unique sound.
Best experienced in one sitting with absolutely no outside distractions!
4. Fallujah - Dreamless
The heaviest album on this list but no less atmospheric. They evolved so much over the years and have refined their sound with this latest outing.
They mix their tech death roots perfectly with dreamy soundscapes.

Iraq is trying to forge a lasting peace for the first time since the U.S. led a military invasion of the country in March 2003.
Fifteen years on, I visited Baghdad and Fallujah for @tim@time Magazine.
