Speedy & nutritious Sea Bass with Ginger, Chilli & Spring Onions, served with stir fried veg & rice noodles. Packed full of nutrients & omega 3, this dish is fresh, healthy food at its best. Here’s the recipe- serves 2: Marinade 2 boneless sea bass fillets in 2 tbsp low salt soy sauce & 1 tsp sesame oil. Place the fillets skin side up on a lined baking tray and pop under a hot grill for 5-6 mins until the skin begins to bubble & blister. Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a wok or frying pan. Add a crushed garlic clove & 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger & a bunch of chopped spring onions. Cook for a couple of mins, then add 1 chopped red pepper, 1 chopped pak choi, a handful each of baby corn & mangetout and stir fry for a few mins before adding 1 pack of rice noodles. Heat through as you add a splash each of soy sauce & fish sauce, then squeeze over the juice of 1/2 lime. While that’s cooking, heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a small pan & cook 1 sliced garlic clove, 1 small piece of ginger, cut into matchsticks & 1/2 red chilli, shredded. Cook for a couple of mins until golden, then stir in a few shredded spring onions and remove from the heat. Divide the noodles & veg between two bowls/plates, top with the fish and pour over the ginger, garlic & chilli mixture. I went to Five March for the first time on Sunday and oh my goodness was it good! We ordered oodles and oodles of small plates and every one of them was delicious! Here we have charred broccoli with chickpeas, hummus picked chilli and za’atar | salmon sashimi with radish, charred corn, wakame, black rice and soy mirin | pecorino curd with peas, edamame, asparagus, lemon and olive. The fried potatoes and the bavette with smoked bernaise were incredible too. These guys recently won at The List awards and I can see why! 🍽 #littleladyofleith
